This graphic shows the average price paid for Brookline houses SOLD in the 1st quarter, January through March, for the last 11 years, 2000-2010. You can see that while average prices have fallen, they did not plummet as they have done in other areas. Bear in mind that the total number of houses sold each 1st quarter are small enough that one or two sales can skew the averages. |
